Tevain Lloyd wanted on Canada-wide warrant for firearm offences

SURREY RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance with locating Tevain Lloyd who is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for aggravated assault, discharging firearm with intent, and using a firearm in the commission of an indicatable offence.

On December 30, 2021, Surrey RCMP had responded to a report of a shooting in the 13900-block of Laurel Drive. A man was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

On April 19, Surrey RCMP issued a media release requesting the public’s assistance with locating Lloyd who was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant in relation to the shooting.

Later that same day, he was located in Vancouver, arrested and held in custody.

On April 27, Lloyd was released on conditions by the courts. He was due to appear in court on August 4, but failed to appear; therefore, a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Lloyd, commonly known as “Gucci” is described as a 28-year-old black male, 6’3, 335 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. He has a tattoo on his right hand that says ‘who god bless no man can curse.’

If you see Lloyd, call 911 immediately and do not approach him. He is considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502, or Crime Stoppers, if they wish to remain anonymous, at 1-800-222-8477 or www.solvecrime.ca.
