TRANSLINK is adding two new seasonal bus routes this summer to help customers reach some of Metro Vancouver’s most popular outdoor destinations. Starting in June, new summer routes will serve Campbell Valley Regional Park and Golden Ears Provincial Park on weekends and holidays. TransLink is also adding a summer extension of Route 181 to Belcarra, and increasing service on 14 more routes.

TransLink’s Summer Service Changes take effect June 8 and also include:

  • More seasonal service to outdoor destinations around the region, including Stanley Park, Spanish Banks, Mount Seymour, and White Pine Beach.
  • The return of Bike Bus service on Fridays, weekends, and holidays until Labour Day between Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal and Bridgeport Station.
  • Extra SeaBus sailings this summer on Friday and Saturday nights.
  • Launch of more year-round service on two North Shore routes, improving access in West Vancouver and Lions Bay.

These improvements are made possible through TransLink’s 2025 Investment Plan, which is delivering the largest bus service expansion since 2018. There is now more than 40 per cent of the expansion implemented, with more coming this fall. TransLink is advancing planning to introduce additional seasonal routes to other outdoor destinations in the future.

TransLink is also increasing service during FIFA World Cup 2026 Vancouver. Transit is the fastest, easiest way to reach BC Place Vancouver and FIFA Fan Festival Vancouver. More service, staff, and security will be added during the tournament to help move large crowds, while maintaining reliable service for customers who use the transit system every day.

On match days, customers should plan ahead and allow for extra travel time. The best way to access BC Place Vancouver will be from Main Street–Science World Station.
