Trudeau calls Horgan

PRIME Minister Justin Trudeau on Monday spoke with B.C. Premier John Horgan to congratulate him on his election win. The two discussed some of their shared priorities, including infrastructure, housing, and Pacific salmon conservation.

The Prime Minister’s Office said in a statement that Trudeau and Horgan also discussed the work undertaken by federal, provincial, and territorial governments to keep Canadians healthy and safe during the pandemic. Trudeau mentioned how much he valued the Horgan’s contributions to the work done by First Ministers to fight COVID-19, and looked forward to his participation in their next discussion with First Ministers. 

The two agreed to continue working closely together in the months ahead.
