SURREY RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance regarding an assault which took place in Newton.
On Thursday, November 14 at approximately 1:45 p.m., police responded to a report of a stabbing in the 7100-block of 135 Street. Police located two male youths, ages 11 and 13 years, who sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Both youths were transported to hospital for further assessment.
Prior to police being called, the suspect male had fled on foot towards a fitness company at 7093 King George Boulevard.
The suspect male is described as:
* Black male
* Approximately 5 feet, 5 inches
* Believed to be in his mid to late teens
* Wearing black Nike medical mask
* Black hoodie or sweater
* Black pants
* Black Nike shoes
Surrey RCMP are seeking witnesses and dashcam footage prior to and after 1:45 p.m. on November 14 in the area of the 7100-block of 135 Street, or the parking lot of 7093 King George Boulevard.
