UPDATE 3:30 P.M.:
RCMP are advising the public that No. 4 Road from Cambie Road to Tomicki Avenue has been re-opened to traffic.
ON Thursday, October 23, shortly after 12 p.m. a Richmond RCMP officer came upon a two-vehicle collision on No. 4 Road and Odlin Road.
One driver was transported to a local area hospital with significant injuries.
Richmond RCMP Criminal Collision Investigation Team (CCIT) along with the Lower Mainland Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (ICARS) will be attending the scene.
No. 4 Road from Cambie Road to Tomicki Avenue is currently closed with no timeline for re-opening. Richmond RCMP are asking the public to plan an alternate route.
As this investigation is actively unfolding no further information will be provided at this time, police said.
