Vancouver collision sends two pedestrians to hospital

VANCOUVER Police are investigating a serious collision that sent two people to hospital Monday night, and are asking anyone with information to call police.

A 44-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman were crossing Argyle Drive near Braeburn Street on Monday, December 18 at 5 p.m., when they were hit by the driver of a grey Tesla. Both pedestrians were taken hospital. The woman remains in hospital with serious injuries.

“This collision occurred during a busy time of day where there would be a lot pedestrian and vehicle traffic,” said Constable Tania Visintin on Tuesday. “We are asking witnesses or anyone with dash-cam footage to get in touch with investigators as quickly as possible.”
