Vancouver Police investigate South Slope homicide

ONE man was killed and two others seriously wounded on Saturday night in the city’s 14th homicide of 2021.

Vancouver Police officers discovered the victims around 11 p.m. on Saturday, October 30 after responding to a roll-over collision near Fraser Street and East 55 Avenue. Police believe the three men were riding in the vehicle when they were involved in a confrontation with people in another car.

The homicide victim, a Vancouver man, was pronounced dead at hospital. Two others are receiving treatment for serious injuries.

No arrests have been made.

Police are looking for dashcam footage and witnesses who were in the area of Main and Fraser streets, between 41 Avenue and 57 Avenue, between 10:30 p.m. and 11:15 p.m. on Saturday night. Anyone with information is asked to call VPD’s Major Crime Section at 604-717-2500.
