A 16-year-old pedestrian was hit and dragged by a car, with his head ending up under a rear tire, Abbotsford Police Chief Mike Serr tweeted on Saturday, saying: “You never know what will happen during a shift.”

Police officers combined their strength to lift the vehicle off the victim.

The good news?

“Amazingly the victim will be okay,” Serr tweeted.

“Driver being investigated,” he added.
