VANCOUVER Police are asking for the public’s help to locate a man wanted Canada-wide.
Elwood Poorman, 42, is currently on day parole. He has a history of committing violent offences.
Poorman is Indigenous, 5’10” tall and 220 pounds. He has short black hair and brown eyes. He has a tattoo on his left forearm of a tiger and praying hands, and a tattoo of a cross with a rose on his left shoulder.
Poorman signed out of his halfway house on July 16 and has failed to return, as required by his court-ordered conditions.
Anyone who sees Poorman, or knows of his whereabouts, is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.
