Vancouver Police search for vehicle involved in serious hit-and-run

VANCOUVER Police are investigating a serious hit-and-run that sent one man to hospital with life-threatening injuries, and are asking witnesses to come forward.

The victim, a middle-aged man who has yet to be identified, was crossing Clark Drive at Grant Street from west to east around 9 p.m. on September 14. He was hit in the middle of the road by the driver of a black 2011 to 2015 Kia Optima. The driver fled on Clark before police arrived.

The victim was taken to hospital where he remains in the Intensive Care Unit.
