The 57-year-old victim was crossing Arbutus Street at West 33rd Avenue on October 31 at 3:20 p.m., when she was hit in the crosswalk by the driver of a red Mini Cooper. The victim was taken to hospital where she remains recovering with life-altering injuries.
“This collision occurred during a busy time of day where there would be a lot pedestrian and vehicle traffic,” said Constable Tania Visintin on Thursday. “We are asking witnesses or anyone with dash-cam footage to get in touch with investigators as quickly as possible.”
