VPD seeks witnesses after pedestrian injured in collision

VANCOUVER Police are investigating a serious collision that sent one person to hospital last week, and are asking anyone with information to call police.

A 38-year-old man was crossing Pacific Boulevard at Drake Street at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13 when he was struck by a light blue BMW. The man was taken to hospital where he remains with serious, life-altering injuries.

Investigators from VPD’s Collision Investigation Unit have located video that shows there were pedestrians and vehicles in the area at the time of the collision.  Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or anyone who may have dash-cam footage is asked to get in touch with investigators as soon as possible.
