Yet another shooting in Surrey on Tuesday night

THERE was yet another shooting in Surrey on Tuesday night. At about 10:25 p.m., Surrey R.C.M.P. received several 911 calls about several gunshots being heard in the area of 88th Avenue and 134B Street.

Police located evidence consistent with shots being fired in that area.  A police Service Dog Unit conducted an item search in the area.  Additional evidence consistent with shots being fired were located a short distance away near the intersection of 88A Avenue and 134B Street.

Checks of the surrounding residences and vehicles in the area failed to locate anything that had been hit by a bullet.  Surrey R.C.M.P. members are canvassing the area, seeking additional information.  Several persons in the area were spoken to, but no one reported seeing or hearing any vehicles in the area at the time the shots were heard, nor seeing the shots being fired.  No injured persons were located.
