Surrey RCMP seeking witnesses, video footage in pedestrian-involved hit-and-run

SURREY RCMP are asking for the public’s help after a pedestrian was seriously injured in a hit-and-run possibly involving two vehicles.

On Thursday, May 16 at 9:43 a.m., Surrey RCMP responded to a pedestrian hit-and-run in the 1600-block of Martin Drive. Emergency Health Services transported the elderly female victim to hospital with serious injuries. She remains in hospital, and extent of her injuries is unknown at this time.

Surrey RCMP Criminal Collision Investigation Team (CCIT) has taken conduct of the investigation and is looking for any witnesses or anyone whose vehicle is equipped with a dash camera and was driving in the 1600-block of Martin Drive between 9:15 a.m. and 9:45 a.m.
