MINI – The tiny iconic British premium car with a big personality arrives for 2019 with a few updates that further expand the character and appeal of this timeless jewel of an automobile. The new 2019 update for the MINI 3- door, the MINI 5- door, and the MINI Convertible includes fresh tweaks on the exterior, interior updates, a raft of customization possibilities and a plethora of technology and digital services available as part of the MINI Connected suite.
Exterior changes include: newly designed “ring” headlights and cool-looking LED rear lights with a Union Jack motif, New MINI logo, and new light alloy wheels. There are MINI illuminated puddle lights, and three new exterior paint colors: Piano Black, Emerald Grey metallic, Starlight Blue metallic, and Solaris Orange metallic. The interior of the 2019 MINI features new leather trims, interior surfaces and color options. Powertrain options include a 134-hp 1.5-liter turbo three-cylinder engine paired to a six-speed manual or automatic transmission. Cooper S models have the 189-hp 2.0-liter turbo-four. Meanwhile the top dog John Cooper Works Hardtop and Convertible offers a 228-hp 2.0-liter turbo-four with a standard six-speed manual or an optional six-speed automatic.
In addition The MINI Yours Customized program now allows for a buyers to design their own customized individualized equipment to make any MINI, one of kind. Customers can choose between various colors, patterns, surface structures and icons, as well as adding texts and personal style to their design.
The MINI also arrives with: optional radio and navigation systems with touchscreen monitor, Cell phone wireless charging, MINI Connected, and MINI Connected XL with new functions, such as: a personal mobility assistant feature, Remote services, to display vehicle location and fuel levels and allow owners to lock and unlock the car and turn on the climate control. A new service called Mini Find Mate allows owners to tag objects and show their location on a smartphone or the car’s main screen. Other new features include Advanced Real Time Traffic Information with 4G LTE connectivity, support for Apple CarPlay, Connected Services, and intelligent emergency call.
