BC Conservatives keep disgracing themselves

BC NDP House Leader Mike Farnworth on Wednesday in Question Period called out Surrey-Panorama MLA Bryan Tepper for endorsing a youtuber who is siding with the United States in the trade war.

On Tuesday, youtuber “Mr. Sunshine Baby” said in a video about Canada’s response to Trump’s tariffs: “The fat pig Doug Ford in Ontario is ready to cut off the power, and Liberals are cheering him on…This is quite literally, by definition, an act of war.”

On Wednesday, Tepper welcomed Sunshine to the legislature viewing gallery, calling him a “Canadian patriot.”

“I won’t address all the issues I have with the opposition when it comes to those who want to wear a MAGA hat,” Mike Farnworth said in Question Period. “But I do have a question for the Leader of the Opposition. Does he think it’s appropriate for a member of his caucus to introduce somebody like that when tariffs are the greatest issue we face?”

Mr Sunshine Baby also cheered on Trump’s attack on Ukrainian President Zelensky. He tweeted “America is BACK BABY!! Zelensky gets put in his f*cking place.” In a video yesterday, he called Zelensky “the freaking Ukrainian grifter.”

Sunshine also apologized to Americans for the trade war.

“It’s important that we all stand up for Canada,” said Farnworth in the legislature. “I’m a firm believer that when you wear the hat, you support the team.”

The NDP pointed out that Tepper is a Trump supporter who shared a meme suggesting a January 6th conspiracy.
