SHARNJIT Singh Gill, President and CEO of Surrey-based VERICO Superior Mortgage Inc., is a finalist for Mortgage Excellence Awards – Regional Broker Western Canada – 2026.

Gill told The VOICE: “Being named an excellence awardee is an incredible honor. It is a recognition of the hard work and dedication that we have worked very hard to earn.”

He added: “It is a testament to our commitment and passion toward our clients and also for the pursuit of excellence.”

Gill said: “Our principle is: “Doing what is right for our clients,” and we also add value to our services.”

He noted: “Honesty and hard work go a long way in building trust.”

Indeed, these honors are the product of a long, illustrious career of 56 years in banking and mortgages in three countries – India, UK and Canada.

After all, as Gill once told The VOICE: “We get 85% of our business from the repeat clients.”

The father (Sharnjit Gill) and son (Raj Gill) team were Top Producer with Envision Credit Union in 2003, with both receiving individual awards.

The team specialized in construction mortgages. Recently, they did construction mortgage for $4 million.

Gill says: “We are a small team of 5 but with ‘Power of One’!”
