ON Tuesday at 7:32 p.m., Abbotsford Police patrol officers responded to a serious two-vehicle collision at Clearbrook Road and Austin Avenue.

Emergency crews arrived at the scene and determined that a passenger vehicle and a private bus had collided, causing the bus to roll over on its side. Multiple passengers were aboard the bus at the time of the crash.

Three individuals were transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the passenger vehicle was also taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigation is in its early stages and is being led by the Abbotsford Police Department’s patrol branch, with support from the Commercial Vehicle Safety and Enforcement (CVSE) Unit and WorkSafeBC investigators who attended the scene.

Investigators are asking anyone who witnessed the collision, observed the vehicles prior to the collision along Clearbrook Road, or may have dash camera footage, to contact the Abbotsford Police Department at 604-859-5225.
