THE Abbotsford Police Department Crime Reduction Unit executed a search warrant in rural West Abbotsford on Thursday, recovering more than $70,0000 worth of property stolen from Delta.

On April 22, investigators executed a search warrant in the 2500-block of Lefeuvre Road in relation to the of a theft of a truck and semi-trailer from Delta on April 18.

While executing the warrant, investigators seized 93 new appliances (refrigerators, washers, dryers, stoves, and microwaves) still in boxes. The victim of this stolen property was identified as a shipping warehouse and the recovered property has been returned.

This investigation is ongoing in partnership with Delta Police investigators.
