Abbotsford Police investigate serious pedestrian-involved collision

ON Saturday, December 13 at approximately 2:53 p.m., Abbotsford Police patrol officers responded to a collision in the 1600-block of McCallum Road.

Emergency crews found two pedestrians injured after being struck by a van traveling southbound on McCallum Road. The van left the roadway, mounted the sidewalk, and struck the pedestrians. Both individuals were transported to hospital—one with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigation remains in its early stages. The 33-year-old male driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating with police. Impairment has been ruled out as a factor in this incident, police said.
