SURREY’S famous cricketer Amjad Bajwa has been elected President of Cricket Canada.

In a Facebook post, Bajwa wrote: “Looking forward to working with the policies of former President Rashpal Bajwa. Cricket Canada has grown a lot in the last few years, especially with the ODI status and qualification for the ICC T20i World Cup.”

He added: “Exciting times are ahead as I pledge to work with the Board and take the national team to new heights.”
