OFFICERS with BC Highway Patrol say they need your help as they investigate a major collision between a white Toyota Sienna and a white Mazda 3 in the Massey Tunnel that shut down traffic for over three hours on Tuesday, October 15.
The collision happened at 3:45 p.m. when the two vehicles went head-on while one of the northbound lanes was being used as a counterflow, said Cpl. Michael McLaughlin with BC Highway Patrol.
Both drivers were alone in their respective vehicles at the time of the collision and both had non-life-altering injuries.
Anyone who saw the collision, or has dash cam video of the events leading up to the collision, is asked to call BC Highway Patrol as soon as possible.
