DHILLON lost and Dhillon won! The one who won was the new Dhillon – Gurpreet Dhillon, who will be the new city councillor for Wards 9 and 10 of Brampton. He took 40.99 per cent of the vote (9,543 votes) on Monday, defeating the incumbent Dhillon – Vicky Dhillon, who failed to get a third term and lost by over 2,000 votes. Four years ago, he garnered 54.66 per cent of the vote. This time, he got only 32.28 per cent.

And yes, there was the usual Punjabi celebration with drums and dancing and all the rest!
