Burnaby RCMP release sketch of suspect after interrupted break-and-enter

BURNABY RCMP are appealing for information from the public and releasing a sketch of the suspect as investigators look to identify a man who broke into a Burnaby home on Wednesday, November 1.

The break-and-enter happened at a townhouse complex on 18th Avenue in the Edmonds area at approximately 11:30 p.m.

The man entered the home through a patio door while several people were home. When a resident heard the man enter and yelled at him, the suspect quickly left.

Nothing was stolen and no weapons were seen.

While there have been no similar reports in the area, Burnaby RCMP want the public to be aware of the incident. Investigators are also releasing a composite sketch as they look to identify the suspect.

The suspect is described as:

  • 25 to 35 years old
  • Tall
  • Thin build
  • A dark beard
