JESSIE Sunner, Minister of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills, has welcomed a baby.

Sunner began her parental leave on Friday, July 31 and is expected to return to her position in October 2026.

Jennifer Whiteside, Minister of Labour, will take on Sunner’s ministerial duties during her leave.

Sunner’s Surrey-Newton community office will remain open for its regular office hours, Monday to Friday, from 10 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. during this time.
