Canadians prefer Trudeau as PM by a wide margin

JUSTIN Trudeau is the preferred choice as Prime Minister at 39.3 per cent of Canadians, according to the Nanos weekly federal tracking.

Conservative Leader Erin O’Toole in spite of using every opportunity possible to attack Trudeau is far behind at 20.3 per cent of Canadians.

O’Toole is followed by federal NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh (13.1%), Green Party Leader Annamie Paul (3.9%) and People’s Party of Canada (PPC) Leader Maxime Bernier (2.4%).

Eighteen per cent of Canadians were unsure whom they preferred.
