THE Canada Border Services Agency’s four-legged detectives sniffed out over 45 kg of meat, and plant and dairy products from three travellers arriving at Vancouver International Airport from Bangladesh.
The detector dogs — Dharla, Olga, and Theo — got a round of “appaws” (and yummy treats, too, we guess!) from the CBSA officers.
The CBSA seized the goods and imposed a $1,300 penalty — which we are sure did not leave a very good taste in their mouths!
