THE BC Prosecution Service (BCPS) announced on Wednesday that a charge of assault has been approved against a Coquitlam RCMP officer following an incident that occurred in Coquitlam on January 26, 2024.
An Information charging Constable Shawn Tilton with one count of assault, was sworn on May 13 in Port Coquitlam provincial court.
The first appearance on this matter is scheduled for June 18.
