BC Youth Week is from May 1-7 and the City of Surrey has lots of fun, free activities to help youth celebrate their interests, accomplishments, and diversity. The variety of activities span the week and are intended to encourage youth aged 10-16 to connect with their community and discover what the City has to offer. Â
Starting May 3, Surrey youth will be able to find free events to join in various locations around the city, including the SASSY Awards at City Hall on May 4 to recognize exceptional youth in the community:Â

BC Youth Week is a provincial celebration of youth held annually during the first week of May. The celebration is intended to build a strong connection between youth and their communities. Â
