Conservatives smash all fundraising records bringing in $41.7 million in 2024

THE Conservative Party on Friday announced that in 2024 it broke all fundraising records for any political party in Canadian history, bringing in a record $41.7 million in 2024 and surpassing its record-breaking fundraising year of 2023.

The party noted that 2024 was Pierre Poilievre’s second full year as party leader.

Additionally, the Conservative Party broke the record for fundraising of any political party in a quarter, bringing in $12.8 million in Q4 of 2024. Even with the Canada Post strike, which impacted donations by mail, in December alone the party raised $7.6 million.

The Conservative Party received 211,255 donations totaling $41.7 million in 2024, with an average contribution of $198. The party’s cost to raise a dollar was 18 cents in 2024.
