THANKS to CTV, viewers rushed to bring back joy to 12-year-old Jayda Thandi after her large inflatable Christmas decorations in the front yard of their South Vancouver home were stolen.
Jayda, who is visually impaired and was born with Charge syndrome, a rare genetic condition, can see only large, bright decorations.
Donor Mark Dhaliwal told CTV: “I really wanted to help out. I didn’t want her to not have her inflatables for Christmas.”
Jayda’s dad, Paul Thandi, said this meant a lot to his daughter.
She received two inflatable snowmen, a Minnie Mouse, a reindeer, and a big Santa Claus from generous CTV viewers.
