ON Tuesday, August 9 at approximately 1:59 p.m., Surrey RCMP responded to a report of a cyclist struck by a work van in the 9700-block of 120 Street. The cyclist sustained serious injuries and was transported to hospital.

The driver of the work van remained on scene and is cooperative with police.

Surrey RCMP Criminal Collision Investigation Team has taken conduct of the investigation.
