DELTA Police Department in partnership with the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit – BC (CFSEU-BC), Surrey RCMP and Langley RCMP on Thursday executed four search warrants at homes in Surrey and Langley.  There were over 50 officers involved in the execution of this operation.  The search warrants resulted in the seizure of a large amount of currency and illegal drugs.

Two adult males were arrested and drug-related charges will be recommended to Crown Counsel.  No further information about this investigation is being released at this time.

The investigation into the gang / drug related violence in Surrey and Delta remains of the highest priority, and Thursday’s seizure and arrests reinforce the determination and commitment of all the agencies involved to solve these crimes, police said in a press release.
