Delta Police ask public to keep an eye out for missing Anmol Jagat, 21

DELTA Police are asking the public’s assistance in helping to locate a missing 21-year-old man, who left his family’s North Delta residence on Sunday, October 24.
Police have taken a number of investigative steps, but with no success, and are now turning to the public for assistance.
Anmol Jagat left his residence near 114 Street and 80 Avenue at 12:45 a.m. on October 24. His direction of travel is unknown. He is described as:
  • 6’1” tall with a medium build
  • with long black hair and wears glasses
  • last seen wearing black pants, black shoes, a white jacket and a green shirt, with a black toque.
“Anmol’s family is extremely concerned for his safety, and says disappearing in such a manner is not in his character,” says Cris Leykauf, spokesperson for Delta Police. She notes the family only moved to North Delta three months ago from outside BC, so Anmol is not that familiar with the area.
He’s known to like forested areas, and does not use transit.
If you have any information about Anmol Jagat’s disappearance, such as home security camera footage which may have captured his image, call Delta Police at 604-946-4411. If you believe you see him, please call 9-1-1.
