Diana Hayden got married to her boyfriend Collin Dick in a country club in Las Vegas, USA, on September 13.

The wedding was a private affair, attended by close friends and family. Collin, who is originally from Vegas, has been working in Mumbai for an international NGO.

The couple met in February and by May, knew that they were meant to be together. The wedding was preceded by a bachelorette party on 11th and a wedding rehearsal on 12th.

Says Diana from Italy — where she is currently honeymooning — “It was a fairytale, three-day affair. We had a wedding rehearsal dinner for the wedding party and our families on the 12th. After dinner, we invited all our guests to join us so that they could all meet and get to know each other before the wedding.”

On the wedding day, the couple had four bridesmaids and four groomsmen, a flower girl and a page boy. Collin’s very close friend got his license as an officiant and got the couple married. The wedding was a very private and intimate wedding of 125 guests — all family and close friends of the couple from different parts of the world, including Australia, Sweden, London, Canada, Colombia, Peru, Singapore and India. The ceremony was followed by a five course dinner and lots of dancing.

The next day all the guests were hosted to a luncheon at the Bali Hi Golf Course in Vegas, so that everybody could meet and say their goodbyes. At the ceremony, Mehnaz Hoosein sang At last by Etta James, and at the end of the ceremony, the couple released 20 doves and LED lit white helium balloons.

“My dress, my bridesmaid’s dresses, and my groomsmen’s scarves and ties were made by Archana Kochhar. The whole setting was stunning, romantic and dreamy. I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful or special wedding!” Diana said, adding that she would be based out of Mumbai.
