FIJI Disaster Relief Society recently presented a cheque for $4,125.25 for PICS Diversity Village Project, a long term care home for seniors. The check was presented by the directors of Fiji Disaster Relief Society, including President Kavin Chand, to Satbir Cheema, PICS CEO, Paul Dosanjh, PICS Board Chair, and Inderjit Hundal, Administrator for PICS Seniors Housing.

The money was raised at the Fiji’s 48th Independence Day Celebration on October 20 at Bollywood Banquet Hall in Surrey.  Mir Solo Mara, Fijian Consul General to North America, was the chief guest at this function along with Bobby Naicker, Honorary Consul of Fiji in Canada.
