SURREY RCMP have taken four suspects into custody following a confirmed shooting in the Bridgeview area.
On May 18, at approximately 3:30 p.m., Surrey RCMP responded to reports of a gunshot coming from a residence in the 12900-block 111th Avenue. Police contained the residence and arrested the occupants. Police confirmed that no one was injured as a result of the shooting. One person was taken to the hospital with a non-life threatening arm injury, believed to have been sustained during an altercation inside the residence.
This residence is known to police and the initial indications are that this shooting was a result of a dispute between parties known to one another. There is no indication of an ongoing threat to public safety.
The Surrey RCMP General Investigation Unit has taken conduct of the investigation and the area will be cordoned off while the police investigation continues.
Police will be in the area canvassing the neighbourhood for witnesses and surveillance videos.
