Horgan looks forward to new federal resources for childcare

BC NDP Leader John Horgan, reacting to the federal Speech from the Throne on Wednesday, said: “I very much look forward to new federal resources for childcare which is a shared priority, and would be a key priority for a re-elected BC NDP government. In our first term, we made record investments to reduce costs for families, create new spaces, and train early childhood educators. I’m eager to work together to ensure all families in BC have access to affordable childcare.”

Horgan also said that he welcomed “the federal government’s commitment to extend and enhance business support programs as we all continue to work to restart our economy and recover jobs for people.”
