“This was a targeted shooting that happened in a busy area, with no regard for the safety of others,” said IHIT Sgt.Timothy Pierotti. “We’re working closely with our partners in Coquitlam to determine what connection, if any, this has to the other recent shooting.”

IHIT is asking any witnesses or anyone who was in the area of Westwood Street and Glen Drive, between 4 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. with dash-camera video to contact the IHIT Information Line at 1-877-551-IHIT (4448) or by email at ihitinfo@rcmp-grc.gc.ca.
