At the Sikh Heritage Month 2022 Gala on April 2 at Surrey City Hall. Surrey Mayor Doug McCallum and Surrey Councillor Allison Patton along with MPs Sukh Dhaliwal and Randeep Sarai spoke on the occasion. Sikh Heritage BC honoured five scholarship recipients — Chandhana Nambiar, Armaan S. Thandi, Keira Cheng, Arshdeep S. Garcha and Satpreet S. Dhadda – and recognized three ‘Community Changemakers’ – Dr. Birinder S. Narang, Sandip K. Sodhi and Guru Nanak’s Free Kitchen.
