The recently held annual Vancouver Punjabi Mela at Walter Moberly Park corner of Ross Street and East 61 Avenue was a roaring success with performances from a host of stars including Bittu Khanne Wala, Surmani, Aman Rozi, Kanth Kaler, Dilraj, Miss Neelam, Rimpi, Jaan Heer, Sham Pandori, Momi Dhillon, Pamma Sunnar, Raj Dadral, Sandeep Garcha, Davinder Roohi, Kuldeep Chumder and Harry Bal. Main sponsors included Satnam Saroya, Rick Toora, Barjinder Bhatti, Dr. Harjinder Jassal, Rana Gill and Surinder Ranga.
