THE Independent Investigations Office of B.C. (IIOBC) is investigating a collision involving a Vancouver Police officer.

An on-duty Vancouver Police officer was involved in a collision with a pedestrian just before 9:30 p.m. on Saturday near Knight Street and East 20th Avenue.

The pedestrian was taken to hospital and remains in serious condition. The officer was not physically injured.
