Jagdev Kooner of Brampton charged in Peel Regional Police’s voyeurism investigations

ONTARIO’S Peel Regional Police have charged a  40-year-old male from Brampton in connection to a voyeurism investigation.

In April 2024, the 22 Division Criminal Investigative Bureau commenced an investigation into allegations that a Brampton resident was secretly filming unsuspecting victims in their residence during nighttime hours.

On Wednesday, July 3, the investigation concluded with the assistance of the Aerial Support Unit, which was able to record the suspect while he committed the offences.

Jagdev Kooner, a 40-year-old resident of Brampton, has been charged with voyeurism, criminal harassment, and trespass at night. He was held for a bail hearing and appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.

Police are concerned there may be more victims.
