Jaspal Rai of Oakville arrested after drugs and cash recovered from residence

ONTARIO CRIME FRI 12INVESTIGATORS with the Peel regional Police’s Street Crime Gang Unit completed an investigation on Thursday, September 11 that resulted in the seizure of drugs from an Oakville residence.

The unit executed a search warrant after an investigation of drug trafficking in the Credit Woodlands area of Mississauga.

The accused Jaspal Rai, 30, of Oakville was charged with four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, and one count of possession of proceeds of crime. He was held for a bail hearing.

The following items were seized from his residence:

– 16.6 ounces cocaine

– 9.3 ounces MDMA

– 1.9 ounces marijuana

– 12 grams of hash oil

– $23,600

– Scales

– Packaging

The total value of the drugs seized is estimated to be worth $54,070.
