Whenever Emraan Hashmi has kissed on screen, more often than not the film has gone on to become a hit.

The actor’s Shanghai didn’t see him locking lips. Call it coincidence or just bad luck, but the film didn’t do well at the box office.

Ek Thi Daayan and Ghanchakkar too didn’t findmany takers. Nonetheless, Hashmi apparently is keen that his next film, reportedly titledBadtameez Dil, includes an intimate kissing scene.

Buzz is that he conveyed this desire to Ekta Kapoor, who is producing this film in association with Karan Johar. Unfortunately, for him, his request was denied because the heroine of the film —Kareena Kapoor — told the producers that she will not kiss on screen. The film is slated go on the floors this September, with the first schedule in New Delhi.
