With an athletic scholarship to Douglas College, he enrolled in the Criminology Program and continued to wrestle, earning two additional Canadian national titles.

In 2014, Parmvir became a BC correctional officer and worked at the North Fraser Pre-Trial Centre. While working in Corrections, he was selected to be a member of the Centre’s Emergency Response Team, and participated in two World Police and Fire Games, receiving a gold and silver medal in wrestling.
