Knives and bear spray seized from two young men by Burnaby RCMP

RCMP frontline officers last week recognized two young men, believed to be involved in gang activity, driving in South Burnaby. Checks revealed the driver had a class 7 licence, but no “N” was displayed.

A traffic stop lead to two knives and a can of bear spray being seized by police, Burnaby RCMP tweeted.

A violation ticket was issued for fail to display “N”.

“This is another great example of our frontline officers disrupting potential criminal activity in our city and taking dangerous weapons like the knife [see video below] off our streets.”
