Local artist Diana Muttart showcased at George Mackie Library

The George Mackie Library presents Then and Now, a new art exhibit on display from July 24 – August 31, 2023. The ArtWall exhibit features the works of local Delta artist Diana Muttart.

Diana’s passion for art began in early childhood and never stopped! She attended Kwantlen College’s Fine Arts Education Program in the 1980s & 1990s. During that time, she connected with four other artists. They formed a group called “Simply Friends.” Together, they had many exhibitions in Delta and other communities. They embarked on long painting trips, which resulted in several paintings in the current collection displayed at the George Mackie Library.

Diana is also a member of a group of artists called the “Artistic Sisterhood.” They held an exhibition at the George Mackie Library in January & February 2023.

Diana and her husband Barry have been long-time residents of North Delta. They raised their two daughters in this community and still reside here.
