A man has been charged with arson following an extensive Vancouver Police investigation into a fire that destroyed a house in South Vancouver last December.
VPD’s Major Crime Section launched an investigation on December 16, 2022, after Vancouver Fire Rescue Services responded to a house fire near Argyle Street and Victoria Drive. Despite more than one million dollars in damages, no one was injured in the blaze.
Force Forsythe, 37, has now been charged with one count of arson with disregard for life. His next court appearance is June 26.
