OFFICERS of Peel Regional Police on Tuesday morning responded to a medical call for service, which resulted in a weapons seizure and numerous weapons related charges against the suspect. Police found a male unconscious in a vehicle. While administering first aid to him, a replica firearm was located in his possession. He was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries unrelated to these charges.
Police have charged Kyle Hanoman, 26, of Mississauga, with the following weapons-related charges:
– Weapons dangerous
– Carrying concealed weapon (two counts)
– Unauthorized possession of prohibited or restricted weapon
– Breach of probation order (two counts)
– Fail to comply with recognizance (two counts)
– Breach of prohibition order (four counts)
Hanoman was held for a bail hearing and appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on Wednesday.
